Howdy Ya'll!

I hope this letter finds everyone doing swell!  I am doing great, have been on the road performing quite a bit lately but I am having a great time and am continuing to meet some AWESOME people and friends!  I am still taking guitar lessons and my brother has started playing the fiddle and seems to really like it.  We just recently got home from the Cal Farley's Boys Ranch Youth Symposium in Texas and the Gene Autry Museum Fundraiser in Gene Autry, OK.  We all had a great time, I entered my western landscape "Blue Mesa" in the art contest and won overall with a cash prize of $300. 00 so that was cool but the coolest thing about that was I was able to buy me a handmade belt buckle with 2005 Patsy Montana National Yodeling Champ - Chelsea Beck on there!  I am excited to get it, "Larry" with Wilderado Silversmiths is making it and will have it for me at the AWA 2005 Gathering!  I can't wait to see everyone there again this year, I cherish all of the memories that I got to share with all of my friends there last year!  I hope to meet many more friends that share the same interests I do about our western heritage.  I will be singing in my home town of Laverne, OK on July 3rd and 4th and then we will be heading towards TEXAS!  I have been asked to sing at the Ennis, TX Opry on the 9th, I will then go and do a live radio show in Waxahachie, TX for KBEC Radio with my friends from the Academy of Western Artists from 12 - 5 on July 10th; then I will meet up with all my friends at the Cowtown Opry in Ft.  Worth, TX; then onto the AWA Convention in Richardson Texas on the 11th with the awards show being on the 12th!

I hope to see ya'll down the trail real soon! ! ! !
