February, 2003:
PATSY MONTANA FESTIVAL!
The Patsy Montana Tribute Festival will be held
May 30-31-June 1 in Pineville Missouri.
There will be a PATSY MONTANA YODELING CONTEST on June 31. The winner is always the person who most fits the profile of Patsy Montana as she sang I Want To Be A Cowboy's Sweetheart.
So everyone should wear their fanciest Western Clothes, including
boots and hat. Bring your guitar and play while you sing Patsy's greatest song.
March, 2003:
I have been out in Scottsdale AZ until tonight and I will be forever catching up with this email. We had a good festival. It was a biggie for sure. We did good.
Glad you were listening to KAAM. It seems lots of folks are listening to that station.
Editor's Note: KAAM is a Dallas radio station which plays classic music. Janet appeared on that station to speak about her role at the Gene Autry Museum.
April, 2003:
I am still trying to catch up now that Easter is over. Had a house full of kids and grandkids, and that made it wonderful!
I think we'll get caught up this week, but yard work also has to be done. Though I love that part of my day, it takes a bit of a toll.
Update on Schedule
I will be appearing at the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame on it's 1st year celebration June 7th.
My day will include Pancake Breakfast at 7:30am, and Parade at 9am. There will be festivities, crafts, and singing all day immediately following the parade.
I COULD BE IN THE PARADE IF I COULD RIDE A HORSE, but I can't so I won't. :-)
From 12:30 to 1pm I will host a yodeling workshop and contest. From 2:00 to 2:30 I will be a part of the Cowgirl Jam Session.
I am very happy to be invited to take part in their show.

June, 2003:
[Editor's Note:] Janet wrote this June 6, just before the Cowgirl Family Festival on June 7 & 8.
I got the flyer for the Cowgirl Hall of Fame and Museum today. They actually have my name on the flyers that went out.
It says 'Learn to Yodel with Janet McBride.' This went out to hundreds of folks. I am pretty happy about that.
What I will be doing is gathering a group and having a yodeling workshop. I have them yodel with me to the LeAnn Rimes yodel pattern because it is the easiest. I will have them sing Cowboy's Sweetheart, as Patsy is in the Hall of Fame there.

July-August, 2003:
I received an email from the Rockin H Ranch, where we will go for a workshop on November 1.
You might want to look it up. It is really a neat thing we are going to do.
You have part of the information on our links page, but there's more that people really need to know.
Tell our folks to go to the Ranch Ramblin's page and scroll down to the bottom of the "Ramblin's." They have John and my photo, plus the info on how much the workshop is.
Cost will be $20 dollars for the workshop, plus a chuckwagon supper, and after supper, a chance to walk the 'Milo Maze'.
Please let our folks know.
September, 2003:

November, 2003:
Due to circumstances unforseen, Janet had to cancel the yodeling workshop in Missouri, and will be unable to attend any of the festivities at Wichita Kansas at the Western Music Convention.
11/15/2003: Just heard from Janet, and she is feeling much better with her back. Therapy works wonders, and she is due back to the doctor's for a checkup on the 25th.
December, 2003:
11/19/2003: From Janet - This is the schedule for "Santa's Yodeling Song" on Country Music Television. We we have no idea, for sure, how much of the song will be played. Lets hope it is enough to know it when we hear it.

December, 2003:
Great News! No back surgery for Janet!
She is out of pain and progressing well enough that the doctor says 'no surgery.' She will be more careful about lifting or pulling heavy objects. She will take it easy for the rest of 2003 so that her back will have some rest.
Thanks to everyone who put Janet on their prayer lists. It has worked.
